we invite you to join us for this fabulous experience in the Sperrin Mountains.

Come with us and enjoy a day of pure immersion in the Soul of the Sperrins- a guided mountain hike followed by a handcrafted cheese tasting experience at Dart Mountain Cheese.

The Hike – Sawel Mountain – the highest peak in the Sperrin Range.

Together we’ll walk at a steady sociable pace up through open landscapes and heather moorlands to the summit of Sawel Mountain (678 m) the highest point in Tyrone and Derry.

Along the way, we’ll enjoy mindful pauses, local stories and time to breathe deep in Northern Ireland’s most peaceful hills.

The Taste – Lunch & Tour at Dart Mountain Cheese

After our mountain adventure, we’ll relax and refuel at the award winning Dart Mountain Cheese where we will enjoy a hearty rustic lunch featuring cheese boards, breads, salads and delicious accompaniments.

We’ll then gear up and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the artisan production process. We will hear the cheesemakers’ stories, insights, and secrets behind each flavour.
